Create Your Own Valentine Heart Plate

Enjoy a creative and meaningful way to celebrate Valentine’s Day weekend and join us on Saturday, February 15th, from 3 PM to 5 PM at the historic Thatcher Hotel for a hands-on ceramics experience led by Heather Law of Law Artistry. In this workshop, you’ll personalize your own heart-shaped plate using sgraffito—a decorative technique where you scratch through a top layer of colored clay to reveal a unique design beneath. Think of it as drawing in clay! No prior experience is necessary, and all tools, materials, and printed design inspiration will be provided to spark your creativity. Whether you’re attending solo, with a partner, or with friends, this event is the perfect way to make something beautiful and lasting while celebrating love and artistry. Your finished pieces will be ready for pickup three weeks after the workshop. If you’re unable to pick them up in person, we can ship your artwork to you for an additional fee. Get your tickets today.
